Kingaroy Kitchen started in 1983 when a group of parents decided to sell homemade biscuits to raise funds for new equipment for their sons and daughters working at Endeavour Foundation Kingaroy.
The biscuits were such a hit that soon a commercial kitchen was opened to keep up with demand, continuing to make them in the homemade style people love.
Kingaroy Kitchen has grown into a café that employs more than 30 people with disability. All employees receive training to develop their skills in hospitality, customer service, operating equipment and carrying out the processes needed to produce and package all of Kingaroy Kitchen’s products.
Endeavour Foundation is Australia’s largest employer of people with disability, we believe everyone deserves a job they love. When you choose a treat or gift from Kingaroy Kitchen, you are supporting people with disability to thrive.
We believe in people and their right to a great life – like having a good job!
Kingaroy Kitchen supports people with disability to work towards their career goals in a welcoming and supportive environment.
